Hunter Theatre Arts, HTA to those in the know, offers a nurturing, professional and fun dancing experience. My little girl has learnt so much more than "how to dance" since she started at HTA. She's grown in so much confidence and loves every minute of her classes. The highlight for us 'mums' is definitely the annual show. First taste of professional venues and production! The best start for any little aspiring ballerina!!! (Lisa Murray, mum to Ellie aged 4)
My daughter has danced at HTA for over 6 years. During this time she has performed at the annual shows, most recently at Newcastle City Hall, competed in numerous competitions and took annual exams in ballet, tap and modern. The standard of teaching at the school and desire to get the best out of every pupil (whatever the best maybe) is apparent in every aspect of the school. Miss Barbara is passionate about dance and gives every child, regardless of their ability, the opportunity to shine. I would not take my daughter to any other dance school, HTA is the only school I know that puts dance before financial gain. (Kaye Scott, mam to Keira aged 9)
HTA is a great school with a friendly atmosphere and an approachable teacher. Having attended since the opening I have found Barbara to not only be a fabulous dancer and teacher but also to be a source of constant help and inspiration, often going beyond the role of teacher to help the pupils achieve their full potential. The annual show and the competitions are an opportunity to excel as well as the exams taken. (Krista Ehala).
HTA is the best dance school I have taken my daughter to. She has come on so much doing ballet, tap and modern. The exam results have been very high and this is reflective of the teaching standards at the school. The competitions and shows that the children do are all great and not to be missed. (Carol Olsen)
